Friday night my PSN account got banned due to an inappropriate online ID. After talking to them on the phone for 20minutes the guy submitted a case to get this over turned. Sony have just got back to me saying that they are willing to change my online ID, but does this mean that my COD rank will reset?

I wouldn't see how that could reset you over a name.

It says in the email that I may experience problems with leaderboards, trophies etc and when I asked the guy on the phone he said he was unsure, so just wondering if anyone else has gone through the same situation.
