Leveling crafting seems like a slow process no matter how you do it. But, There was a guy who tried to make a list of the most common prices of items in the game and he made a small guide for lvling crafting. I'll copy and paste the guide here if you want it.

Option 1, The Thief:
Find a city with lots of stuff steal, steal it all and deconstruct it. Note the level of the item you steal is based on your character level and not the level of the area. This option works better at higher levels
Plus: Requires no capital (gold)
Minus: Time consuming and not overly profitable

Option 2, The Trader:
Find a crafting buddy craft items trade and deconstruct them. The reason for this is that you get almost no experience for deconstructing your own items.
Plus: Its fun to level with a friend and some crafters enjoy making items
Minus: You need the mats up front to start up and you end up losing most all your mats through crafting/deconstructing

Option 3, The Merchant:
Find a guild store and buy all the green and blue items you can find a cheap* price and deconstruct them. *Note: Cheap is going to depend on personal profit goal and the market for refining materials
Plus: Quick and can be very profitable if you can find some good deals
Minus: Requires a large amount of gold to work efficiently
