It feels like a 6th grade paper, but here I go
Joe McCarthy conducted a witch hunt claiming the US gov. was infested with communists. "Joe McCarthy had strength, he had great courage, he had daring" In addition Joe McCarthy will conduct a modern day witch hunt known as the "Red Scare". This is shown "In a 1980 speech McCarthy entered the public spotlight by claiming that communist had infested the state department". As a result the culture of fear created a society of conformity, a politics of repudiation.

Looks pretty decent, I wouldn't change much, but I'll highlight in red what I would change, and in blue will be notes / questions.

Not sure what you meant by "a politics of repudiation", may want to refresh that one. As it stands right now, according to this website what you have written is already at a college graduate reading level.
