:offtopic: So like I know this may seem off topic that's why I'm in this section but like I don't really have anyone else to ask so for quite some years I have felt different technically all my life I'm not gonna go into huge detail but technically what i'm trying to say is I'm g*y and I need help or any advice on coming out to my family cos I'm thinking of coming out to them this thanks giving but I'm really scared and dunno what to do can somebody plzzzzz help me :blush2:

Bro just be straight up with tell them how it is, it's your life not there's. I can garuntee they will support you 100% with your decision.

Be yourself and casually tell them. If you seem confident, they won't question it, they'll go along with it. I do not have any experience with this particular thing, but other things, I just flat out say it and act like nothing unusual has happened. That's the best I can tell you, hope it goes well!

Depending on their views, they might just accept it.

I understand completely that its a lot of pressure, but once it's said it's said, no erasing it. So you go downstairs, chest full of breath, tell them "I need to tell you something, basically, i'm gay"



Then you might cry, you might smile, you don't know until it's said, but you say it, that's the important bit. Get it out.


I have no idea if your parents are accepting towards gay people or not, but at the end of the day, you're their son, if they don't accept you, they don't deserve you.

Honestly dude just tell them straight up, its better this way than them finding out some other way, and I'm sure everything will be fine once you tell them man, they are your parents they have your full support im sure.

Tell them when your ready and dont feel like it has to be a rushed process. Sit them down and just tell them. It will work out fine.

Thank you all for what you said specially you ice cube that really made the sun in my day shine a little brighter good morning to you all if your in the east coast I luv you all I gotta go to school now I thank you all for the post and the effort to comfort me with coming out with them they are Christian and do not hate gays but do not agree with it but all I can hope is it goes well i'll just stay 110% confident PS. My sisters best friend is gay.
He just said to his parents that he is interested in boys not girls and they were fine with it. There your parents they will love you no matter what.
Edit- Just in case i wasn't clear my sisters best friend is a boy.
