So my Asus Strix 980Ti just arrived. I've tried to install it but I'm having a problem. The power connectors are 2x8 pins. It came with 1 8 pin and a 6pin. I've plugged the 8 and 6 pin on to my PSU connectors and put the 8 pin on one 8 connector, one 6 pin on the other with a 2 pin too (I don't know if this is making sense) but when I power it, there is a red light on top of the 8 pin connector and a white light with the 6, 2pin connectors with no display to monitor... any help?

That power supply isn't strong enough that's why it lit red.

Wattage wise yes but it's got weak rails hence why it's cheap.

wait, why are you using that one connector from your power supply to power both connectors.
Use one of them 6pin to 8 pin one of the connectors.
I've PM'd you, please have a look

it looks like you've got one 6pin connector connected to both of the 8pin gpu connectors.

Indeed. If you have got the connector, try 2 8 pin connectors both coming out of the PSU. Your daisy chaining connectors on a very hungry card with a shit PSU. Not going to end well.
