Right doubt ill be able to run fallout in 1440p unless i can play 1080p on a 1440p monitor?????
So i think ill go for 144hz instead with very good colours so ips and all, any suggestions?

Baisicly 1440 or 144hz?

I'd go 1440p because it just looks better overall. You may slight troubles running it with a 970, but it should still run at a stable/fair framerate.

yes you can but I doubt you'd need too I run all my games at 1440p no problem lol.

Ok thanks guys i think ill go for the dell ultasharp just dunno if itl be good for cs go due to the slower refresh

refresh rates are irrelevant, it's all a load of marketing bs because 1080P panels take in the region of 16-16.7ms to refresh while i am unsure of the numbers for 1440p, but I would assume it is either the same or a touch slower.
