I have an ordinary laptop. (cost like $300 at walmart lol)
I was wondering if I could play Garrys Mod on there, on low performance of course.
idc about a little lag.

I'm pretty sure you should be able to run it as it's not extremely demanding but post your specs.

MINIMUM:
OS: Windows Vista/XP/2000
Processor: 1.8 GHz Processor
Memory: 2GB RAM
Graphics: DirectX 9 level Graphics Card (Requires support for SSE)
Hard Drive: 1GB
Other Requirements: Internet Connection

I have Windows 8, 2.16 GHz Processor I think and 4GBs of RAM.
I'm not sure about the graphics card.

A friend of mine has over a thousand hours on Gmod and he use to play the majority of it on the integrated graphics of his Intel Celeron before he upgraded.

Either way you should be fine to play it but do expect some lag or FPS drops as some servers can drop FPS.
