Will it work, I'm in the uk buying from the us store for fifa 16. It won't take my card so I'm resorting to purchasing an American gift card of $60. So if I buy that then redeem it onto my xbox which is set as USA, will it work?

it most likely wont but im not sure. I tried redeeming a code from the UK and im from the US and it didn't work so im pretty sure it works the same I could be wrong though

I'm from the UK myself too. I've bought FIFA 16 and have 150$+ on my Xbox Account. I simply changed my billing address and language/locale to US on XBOX (I made the billing address up). Hope this helps.

sorry didn't read that right yes as long as both the account and the code are from the same region it should work

100% mate, I did myself but with different region to get FIFA even earlier then US, just don't forget to change your region before you do that
