cut a long story short, purchased a service from someone on TTG, they promised it next day, its now been 3 weeks. they have not told me why all was done via PM ect.. on site.
i have pm`d 2 TTG staff one replied to ask who it was then never got back to me, the second got a response from the seller saying he has had a house fire.
so he is able to respond to staff but hasnt been able to reply to me or refund me?
i no longer need the service as my other gamertag is now unbanned and its been 3 weeks since it was supposed to be done!
so if i was to dispute it via paypal as unauthorized how can i make sure i win the dispute? it was sent as family and friends.
appreciate any help or advice, thanks!

It's hard to win when sending by family and friends, however it is possible.
Say the seller forced you to send the payment as family and friends, and that you weren't aware this made a difference.
Or you could dispute the payment as unauthorized and say it was not you who sent the payment.
You have a 50/50 chance of winning.

You can still win the case even if sent as F&F...
Just open a case and explain it was payment for a service, but was made to send as F&F.

no dont say you were paying for a service! if you say that paypal automatically cancels your dispute since your not suppose to send money if your paying for a service paypal has a disclaimer about that, ill say just say you put the wrong amount or say you didnt send it at all and talk to the seller DO NOT SAY YOU WERE PAYING FOR A SERVICE Or else your screwed dont listen to these people^^
