If I was part of the preview program and threw in my MW2 disc, would it work?

No, because the backwards compatibility isnt available to preview members yet and they released a list of games that will be compatible when they do and all of the cods were not listed

Oh, alright. I thought I read somewhere that a guy was able to play it but only off the disc. Even with other players on the 360.

Wait. I just looked it up, and preview members can use backwards compatibility. just not with the recently announced list. But Some games on discs.

Incorrect. If they have the games that are on the current list they can play them.
