basically my Xbox controller disconnects literally every two minutes, so i brought a new pad happens again tested it out on my mates xbox its fine. i even have a wire plugged into my controller and it still messes up. any suggestions its really frustrating

are you using a charge and play kit? This is pretty vague, is something blocking the xbox sensor? Is the wire plugged in the xbox all the way? is the wire plugged into your controller all the way. Are your batteries old, you might need to change them.

Your batteries may be dead, but I dont think you would be that stupid to not notice.
The sensor may be blocked
You may just need to update your xbox controller.
If you need to update it, just go to settings then press update controller.
You will need a micro USB to do that.
