LikeaBeast115 wrote You see a shirt for $97, but you are broke, so you borrow $50 from your dad and $50 from your mum so you can buy the shirt. As expected, you are given 3 $1 coins in change. You decide to give your mum and dad $1 each, and keep a dollar for yourself. Now you owe your mum and dad $49 each. 49+49=98, plus the dollar you kept equals $99. Where's the missing dollar?

There's no missing money, you simply added $1 instead of taking it away.
