Is this the guy that had the Sonoma and gave it back to the other guy because he got tired of all the flak he got from it? That sucks, he just built that car.

Yes it is, its said to know that he just got a new car and its already gone. Im just glad to now that he wasn't to beat up.

Yes it is, its said to know that he just got a new car and its already gone. Im just glad to now that he wasn't to beat up.
Right? I can't imagine all the time and money that went into that car for it to be destroyed in less then a few seconds. That's just part of drag racing though, well any racing for that matter, the risk of crashing is always there. I'm just glad he made it out alive and hopefully makes a fast recovery, so he can build a better car.

Shame, he just got it running and sorted too. And should definitely look into better NOS mounts as apparently that loose bottle chin checked him, causing the concussion.
The the seatbelt/seat mounts, that's not good at all. should be at least 4/5mm steel plate just to be on the safe side, shouldn't have to worry about an extra few KG with that much power..
