Don't get me wrong its a good processor BUT like GFXMoon said, you're better off going with an Intel i5. The i5 4690K is an amazing chip for gaming and you will have much better performance out of it.

If however you have already got an AMD chip and are looking to upgrading your PC without changing your motherboard (due to the socket difference), then the AMD FX 8320 is still a great chip.

If you was to go with the AMD CPU rather than Intel, I would strongly recommend saving up an extra 15.00 GBP and get the AMD FX 8350 instead.

Hope this helped

It's far from bad, but it's dated.

Get the i5, it's better in pretty much every measurable way!

It's old. It's not good, but it's not bad, per se. No point using dated hardware in a new rig though. If it's an upgrade from like a 6300, it might make sense, if you need the 2 extra cores and slightly higher clock speeds. A locked i5 with a cheap LGA1150 board will cost about the same as an 8320 and semi decent AM3+ board, and the i5 makes more sense. It's better in every situation.
