So today i've seen the following
This annoys me, people asking for stuff (money, rep, online codes, shoutouts) in return for graphics when theres hundreds of others out there who'll make them free of charge and 100 times better
I'll give one thing though the very talented designers i have no problem with asking for money for certain things like big packages (social media revamps or logos for companies), they'v obviously put some amount of time into becoming good at what they do they deserve something in return but the people who just expect stuff back honestly annoy me
Rant over

50 Rep and a shout out really aren't that big of a deal. They might as well be doing it for free.

Wow. Payment for a service. What a crime.
The rep and thanks that they ask for takes 1 min of your time and is well deserved.

Not really the Best looking posts to promote them self.
people shouldn't ask for Rep for doing something,
but if someone done some graphics for you at the very least you could do is give them Rep. keeps them happy and means absolutely nothing in real life.
Shout out on YouTube is the same. even if you include them in the description for others too see Who "Made/Designed it" then you help each other too. since they Helped you with the YouTube Overlay it don't affect you sharing who done it for you in the description.

At first glance I was inclined to agree with you.
Until I saw your examples
Rep and/or a shoutout in return? Nothing wrong with that
1. It takes no effort and 60 seconds of your time to do both. They have no doubt spent more time than that doing YOU a favour.
2. I would like to think that if SOMEONE made ANYONE a graphic and ANYONE used this graphic; It should be natural human decency to at least Thank or Rep them for it. (Without being asked to do so)
Sorry but I cant agree with you if these examples are to be considered 'something in return' even for simple graphics.

This makes me want to kill myself, people don't respect graphics designers. I can't even count to how many times I've done a banner for someone, 100% to be kind and when they get it, they don't even say that it's nice they just say like thanks and then I never hear from them again.
The designers put their time and effort and not even a thanks? and in this case rep+ etc like, show some **** respect, it's not really hard to give rep.
If you're a graphics designer yourself you know exactly what I'm talking about, but you ignorant people that have never done a project in your entire life have no clue on how it feels spending hours on a banner and not even getting a thanks.
This happend to me like last month.

So you're telling me that if you spent like 2 hours making something that looked pretty nice you wouldn't want something in return??

"free of charge"
I never knew giving rep and and a shout out cost you money...
You sound so ignorant in this rant. People do graphics for free and they are just asking for a little something in return!? Oh no, how dare they.
too much? Right so when we make a picture for 20, 30, 60 minutes it's fine, but it's too much for them to click a few buttons to give rep, a thanks or something back in return?
