The aoc is a very good monitor. 270x is not that powerful and you wouldnt be able to take advantage of 144hz.

get a third aoc, Nice and clean set up.

yeah, 144Hz with a 270X is not worth it unless you play CS:GO because that's one of a handful of titles where you would find it beneficial.

I mostly play CS:GO forgot to add that...

Is it worth it now?

i suppose it is your money and it is entirely up to you, but paying the premium for a 144Hz monitor for one game isn't quite worth it to me.

144Hz panels are not worth their price, at all, IMO. People use the excuse that they have faster response times and what not, so they're "better". Honestly, yes, 144Hz panels have faster response times than 60Hz panels. A 60Hz panel will take 16.7ms for the image to refresh, whereas on a 144Hz panel, it's only going to take 7ms, but the difference is not going to be that significant when you use the panel. You will be able to notice a difference and the gameplay will be smoother on a 144Hz panel, but it's just not worth the premium in most cases, IMHO. 1080p 144Hz panels cost as much as 1440p panels from what I've seen, and it'd be much wiser(IMO) to get a nicer 1440p panel, over a 144Hz 1080p panel.
