Why were the confederates fighting in the Civil War ? Because they didn't want slavery abolished. It doesn't represent southern pride. C'mon now.

I'm sorry but Germans aren't trying to forget/cover up their past, WW2 is a major subject in German history lessons, they tell the students every little detail about it. The tell them how bad it was so it doesn't happen again, they even bring them to the camps to show them first hand what their ancestors done. At least do some research before making such a statement.

How do you critically acclaim something, if you cannot live with it? History is history and you shouldn't be ashamed but in turn learn from it as a lesson.

Very, unfortunate lessons we've learned wither directly or indirectly. To sweep it under the rug? Bygons be bygons? Two wrongs aren't gonna change much.

I guess if someone makes a video with an American flag behind them before shooting some people, it will get banned next.

It's honestly infuriating, because 2 weeks before it happened, sure, every company in existence was fine with having/selling the confederate flag. Now though, oh no, some idiotic hick killed a few people who happened to have owned a confederate flag it's all of a sudden the epitome of hatred.

All of these **** dumb ass companies are just crowd pleasers. Sickening beyond belief how stupid they are.

If I was a business owner, I would go as far as to fly the confederate flag outside of my store, and paint the walls with the confederate flag. At least then I know there will be no dumb-ass oblivious idiots shopping there.
