I'm curious to see if anyone can help me out. I own a 1975 Ford 150, motor and all is brand new. My voltage regulator doesn't work, have tried 2 regulators to see if that was the cause, have checked all the wires and found they all have connection, but as soon as you plug in the regulator it shuts down the alternator and doesn't charge. And if you bypass the regulator the alternator does it's job. Stepfather has looked at it as well and we are both perplexed. All input would be appreciated.
