Is AW still worth buying at this point in its life cycle? I recently got my Xbox one and I'm kinda feeling that urge to play cod you know? But god knows I'm not playing ghosts and AW doesn't seem that bad. I never really liked watching it so I never bought it but now I kinda wanna try it out. What do you guys think? Still worth buying?

Thing is with AW.. It's a decent game but has many many flaws.

The matchmaking is the biggest problem, I live in the UK and have played on American hosts, Nigerian hosts, Brazilian hosts.. the list goes on and on.

The matchmaking is also skill based so if your playing solo against a team of equally skilled players AT THE OTHER SIDE OF THE WORLD, then you are going to have a horrible time and very unlikely to get a good game if one of them pull host.

On other CODS it was always EU matchmaking, more often UK matchmaking during sociable hours.

Every hour of the day on AW, the matchmaking seems to be worldwide, which is TERRIBLE for non-dedicated servers.

I often find myself getting very frustrated when I'm 2 barring on my fibre optic high speed broadband, it's very obviously UN-playable and unfair in terms of an even playing field. The host advantage is REAL on AW.

I say it's a decent game because it's good when the connection is good, but the connection is bad more than half of the time if you are a solo player playing evenings. (it's slightly better in terms of connection during the day)

Now I only tend to play on occasions that a group of friends are playing, the matchmaking still isn't perfect but the horrible connection lobbies are less frequent with a 4-6 man team from the same region.

That is my honest opinion about the game
(P.S I'm on Xbox One, Don't know what the connection is usually like on PS4 or PC.)
