and was curious as to how much it would probably be worth without the 970 if I was to sell it on. I'm aware some of the stuff is older like the mobo and CPU being ivybridge.

its what was offered to me when i was building as i got some parts from a friend for cheap as he was upgrading.

The case is an NZXT Phantom ATX
there is HyperX Ram cooling
its a 1050w psu, (was given to me with other components)

anyone have any rough ideas?

Why you looking to sell them? it may be last gen but they are still very high end components and perform very well. You would not see much performance difference if you upgraded the cpu.

If you want to know the prices look on ebay.

was considering purchasing a new build and moving the GPU over, as this one is quite big and takes up a lot of room so would be looking at something more like a mini-atx or even itx

EDIT: Had a derp moment, would be selling the gpu too

Depends on the quality of the PSU. Should be able to fetch $850 or so for it though.

Would you have money to add ontop of this to build a new pc?

Some itx cases will fit the 970

Its going to be a bit of a hassle trying to sell it, Be careful if selling on ebay. Try to sell locally if you can offering only cash on collection. You could get about £650 for it.

Have you considered just buying a itx mobo and case and reusing the components?
