Im looking to build a pc that can run the latest games such as GTA V etc. I don't know much when it comes to parts but iv'e managed to put 3 builds together, just not sure which would be the better choice. I tried to get cheaper with each build.

A sound card is not needed. The 840 evos have some issues, might as well get the 850 evo m.2 it will be faster. The cpu needs a better cooler, I'm assuming you'll overclock since it is a k series. The 16gb of ram is unnecessary for gaming.

What is your budget?
Do you need peripherals? (mouse, keyboard, monitor)
What will you be using the PC for?
Will you be overclocking?

Overclocking is forcing components of your PC to perform faster than what they do factory stock.

Edit: Forgot to mention, if you are going to overclock then swap out the CPU for a unlocked CPU and get aftermarker cooler.

$305 under budget. One 970 is more than enough for 1080p.

I would not go with any of the builds above. amd uses a dead socket and is fairly old now. You would have no good upgrade options in the future unless you bought another motherboard.

Overclocking in simply put is when you increase the speed of the cpu,gpu or even the ram to get better performance.
