Ouch. I've heard all but bad reviews about this router. I don't know what to tell you man. Try and invest in a new, better one?

MaleMan wrote Try requesting a new modem if your is out dated, that might work. I'd keep your wireless router and trade in your old router for a new one if you've had it for more than 2 years or even a little less. Especially if you use Internet a lot on multiple devices within your household. Hope I helped, best of luck!

Nah this is the third router, we've had 2 brand new ones and both have had the exact same issues. Unfortunately they're not the issue.

You've had three routers or modems? Modem is from your internet provider, router you buy from a retailer. I'm talking about a modem.

We don't have a modem? It's a Technicolor TG582n router we received from my ISP

So either you have a Modem that's connected to that or you have a electric line adapter.

The modem is built into the router, it provides internet access aswell as the wireless signal. i used to have that router too, it's really bad I switched provider, got a fibre connection and never looked back

Sounds like you have a low quality modem and router combo. Check with your ISP for models that are guaranteed to work on their network.

Forest wrote A lot of ISPs don't actually offer IPv6 services, since mostly everyone is still using IPv4 addresses. In a few years once we run out of usuable IPv4 addresses, then you will need to have IPv6 enabled.

What router and modem do you have, and what ISP? Can try to help figure out what is causing your network connectivity issue.

ISP is Plusnet & Router is Technicolor TG582n
I'm also in the UK if relevant.
Try asking for a new modem or asking ISP to test your signal. Sounds like a wiring issue.

You as a customer shouldn't have to sort this out. Contact your Internet Service Provider
