Well obviously they pick what the world is ranting about. Police are just doing their jobs nothing else. Yea people get shot but its people like that guy in new york who shot two cops execution style that cause issues like this. Forget what they say cause if i was the cop id still pull the trigger regardless if they were white, black, yellow, green their all the same color when the red dot is aimed at them

The Justice Department will not charge former Ferguson, Mo., police officer Darren Wilson, whose fatal shooting of a black teenager prompted waves of protests and a national reexamination of law enforcement's relationship with minority communities.

Findings of Justice's inquiry into the incident come six months after 18-year-old Michael Brown was shot by Wilson, who is white.

According to the inquiry, "several witnesses stated that Brown appeared to pose a physical threat to Wilson as he moved toward Wilson."

"According to these witnesses, who are corroborated by blood evidence in the roadway," the inquiry states, "as Brown continued to move toward Wilson, Wilson fired at Brown in what appeared to be self defense and stopped firing once Brown fell to the ground."

The findings, while largely expected, were released Wednesday along with a scathing denouncement of policing in the city. That review found evidence that racial bias was rampant in the department that had long lost the public trust of its African American residents.

Two Police Officers Shot During Protest in Ferguson

Two police officers were shot and wounded during a protest rally in Ferguson, Missouri, early on Thursday, hours after the city's police chief resigned in the wake of a scathing U.S. Justice Department report finding his force was rife with racial bias.

On Thursday, a manhunt was underway after the two officers were hit by gunfire outside the Ferguson police headquarters during a protest rally staged hours after the resignation of Police Chief Thomas Jackson.

The two officers who were shot were not part of the Ferguson force, which is almost entirely white, while the majority of the city's residents are African-American.

A 41-year-old officer from the St. Louis County Police was struck in the shoulder and a 32-year-old officer from the nearby Webster Groves Police Department was hit in the face.

Belmar said the officers, whom he did not identify, were both conscious and hospitalized.

Whats bullshit is that the department of justice even confirmed that there was racism in the Ferguson police department and local court system.

The police chief even quit his job because of that.

Ferguson Releases Racist Emails from Former Officials

Reuters wrote Officials in Ferguson, Missouri, have released the full content of racially charged and religiously insensitive emails, including about President Barack Obama, sent between the city's former court clerk and two ex-police supervisors.

The emails, although dating back years before the shooting, were among evidence presented by the Justice Department in a report in March that concluded that racism pervaded the Ferguson Police Department.

The emails were released to the Washington Post late on Thursday in response to a public-records request.

They were sent and received by Mary Ann Twitty, who was Ferguson's court clerk, as well as former Ferguson police Captain Rick Henke and former police Sergeant William Mudd.

All three were removed from their jobs after the Department of Justice discovered the emails, which prompted an investigation by city officials. The three have made no comment since leaving their jobs.

The emails were sent between 2008 and 2011 and are mainly email forwards containing insensitive and offensive jokes.
