I actually like this game but I just can't grasp why its so popular. Every time I see people ask the same question people talk trash about graphics and how its not CoD. But seriously? I have a friend that Hates shooter games and he has like 500 hours on CS GO. I just don't see how he would like the game when he complains about shooter games being boring. Does anyone have any opinions and please no comparisons to CoD...

It's been around since the 90's.
It has grown since then to becoming a major tournament game bigger and better than CoD.
It's all about strategy,
unlike CoD where you just run in and hope for the best, it's a game of strategy and reaction, not firing everywhere like a headless chicken.
My fave game of all time!

this game isnt even comparable to cod.. csgo is muscle memory and skillful flicks with strats. cod is 12 yr olds screaming and who ever has the best ping wins. csgo= skill cod=12 yr olds

It never dies like call of duty does.
You can make mad bank off this game by selling your skins.
This is the only game you can make money in to have enough to custom build yourself a pc.
Its well maintained.
Hackers get banned faster than they do on xbox.
If you get banned, you have to buy the game again so that stops hackers a lot.
There isn't an OP weapon out of the others like in CoD, but there are some favorable ones to use.
Its made by the best game company that ever touched the earth.
