Finished a download my computer says of the beta update file. It doesn't work. The next one, there isn't file in the zipped folder. The third one is greater than 12 hours to download and hasn't moved in the last hour. My internet is too slow and I can't find a compatible file. I give up lol.

You're going to have alot of problems with the developers version.
Just use a normal iOS 8 version for your iDevice, and it will be fine.

Here are all updated specific IPSW files, free to download, [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Alternatively you could just wait until everything is officially released and Jailbreak with ease.

I tried helping him last night to get iOS 8.2 beta downloaded and then in turn be able to jailbreak it but his computer kept downloading it in a corrupt zip file instead of downloading JUST the .ipsw file which iTunes can read. Everything will be much easier to deal with when the versions of iOS are officially released to the public.

And I thank you for helping me. It's just this computer I think I'm going to try it on another one and see what happens.
Yeah I won't have to deal with a file like that. Still going to try but I'll in the end probably just wait for the public release.
