I was thinking about starting a my-player andsimulating the whole season. After I get a decent contract do the method where you foul out as fast as you can. Has anyone tried this method? Any other suggestions?

Yeah its a good way to get VC and get your player more attributes. You get 600+ VC just put it at the highest difficulty.

Play out your first season and sign a max contract. If you are just looking for VC, foul out every game at 100% game speed and Hall of Fame difficulty.
