Nah, you can still do it, but only 3 times per account I think. Then after 3 times the trial option goes away.

There are no methods as of now to get trials! as of how to get Xbox live gold theres a free month gold membership if you have a valid payment method. PayPal, Visa card, master card etc the method work's 3 times on a console.
