Probably Old school would run fine, but RS3 might have a problem. Just don't run the game on high quality and you should be fine!

Uwazouri wrote You could run it on that laptop but as others have stated it would probably not be the best experience. I would recommend buying a laptop with a graphic card instead of one with just integrated graphics.

Why buy a grapichs card for runescape i have intel hd grapics with an I5 and 4GB ram and i can run it on highest setting and a laptop cant have a videocard only a chipset so it wouldnt be that good either

Laptops can have videocards or "GPUs" to be more technical and some of them are pretty darn powerful. The problem with them is often heat management. I have an Asus Laptop with a Geforce GT 650M inside and it can play Battlefield 3 pretty good (on low settings). Alltough I also see your point, he should not waste money on an expensive and powerful computer unless he is planning to play more demanding games on it.

HTTK wrote Your buying a laptop that's your first mistake get a pc.
If you are getting a new PC or laptop don't buy cheap save up and get a good one. 4gb of ram is nothing 8 gb or 16 gb would be good. Also consider the video card and the CPU.

4gb is definitely enough considering he is playing Runescape and it isn't heavily demanding on specs.

It would run RewindScape which is just like retro RuneScape but provides faster skilling and lots of other benefits such as minigames.
