So I have my A2 license (UK) so I can ride anything that is 47bhp or below. I was looking at a Yamaha R6. Would I be able to restrict it down to the spec so I can ride it legally, I don't mind about prices. I just need to know if I can ride a Yamaha R6 restricted on an A2 License! Thanks! +rep

i doubt it man because it comes stock with over your amount of power restricting it down still wouldnt change the overall capability of the bike,

if you get a old one maybe that came stock with lower power your not allowed to restrict anything with more than twice the max hp your allowed, so the max you can have is a bike with 94hp 'restricted' to 47 and I think most newer 600cc sport bikes have over 100hp
I'm on a old CBR 400 that supposedly have 59hp stock and supposed to have restrictors in it but prob wont know unless you have a bad crash and they check
