I have just watched a video about the upcoming game Fable Legends. It was announced that you can cross play through co-op and multiplayer between the Xbox One and Windows 10 PC's. Yes I do realize that these are both Microsoft owned services, but to cross play from console to PC is relatively new and quite interesting.

Do you think one day Xbox users will be playing with PlayStation users?

Even if this is a far stretch to be thinking of, what's your opinion?

Do you believe consoles shouldn't be crossed and should stay to themselves?

It's a possibility, but I feel it's very unlikely because somehow it will affect company sales, so unless they charge more and piss everyone off, no i doubt it, there's plenty of people on each console

I don't know about cross platform between xbox and playstation. Mainly because the ps4 isn't going to be running windows 10. When it was mentioned in that conference it was about cross platform play between PC and xbox gamers. Which didn't work out that great last time microsoft tried it. I wouldn't say it's the future of gaming at least not yet. There's no telling if it will turn out good or if Microsoft will even follow through with what they said.
