Avast is the best trust me. I am educated in the field of viruses and Avast has the best database to prevent viruses infecting your PC.

I always big up MSE (Microsoft Security Essentials)

All it does is sit there and update, find viruses and keeps you clean, not having many processes running like Norton, so it intentionally speeds your computer up.

When it is green it is happy, when it is amber it wants you to scan or update and when it is red there is an issue

Hope this helps you,

I personally have Avast and Malwarebytes, just scan whatever you download. And you'll be fine.

I have the 2015 Internet Security/PCtuneup combo, it's small in size, high powered, and does a lot for you. If you find a way to make money, I'd go for it. Other features include a personal data safe where you can store highly private/personal data, and it also has a file shredder, to permanently remove any file you need gone. 9.5/10 in my opinion
