Hello everyone,

I currently have the Microsoft stereo headset for my Xbox One and haven't been a huge fan of them after a couple days of trying and experimenting with them.

My first question: I've always have been a fan of Turtle Beach headsets and currently own an X12 and use that for my Xbox 360. However, does anybody happen to have the XO One, XO Four or any other type of headset? And do any of them have mic monitoring just like the X12's?

My second question: I currently play on a Dell VGA monitor (I know it's not wonderful, but it does the job). Is it possible to somehow connect my X12's with the Xbox One in some sort of way? Keep in mind, a monitor NOT a TV. The monitor has VGA and DVI.

Any help is appreciated!

I have the XO Fours and it is all I use for my Xbox One. They do not have mic monitoring nor do the XO Ones. If fact I personally haven't seen a headset yet that was designed just for the One that has mic monitoring, people have just been using old headsets with the adapters.

There is another way to connect your headset but it will cost you about $25 in adapters and cables. You can get something like [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] and connect a SPDIF cable from your Xbox One into this adapter and then from the adapter into your headset. It seems like a ton of wires to run and a real pain but it will work. My personal suggestion is to get a new headset for the Xbox One as it is only a single cable into your controller that deals both with game audio and chat, its a lot simpler and easier, just don't get the XO Fours.

So it seems like i'm better off just getting a different Xbox One headset then. I remember seeing the XO One's being promotoed as having mic monitoring, but maybe I misread. Again, I appreciate the feedback!
