Just wondering i was playing bf4 on ultra at around 120 fps and my cpu got hotter than usual [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] are these temps safe to play on?

Considering I've been doing that temp (or higher) for the past 6 months unwillingly, it's not the worst thing in the world. However you should probably clean any dust from your PC, get a new CPU fan, or change the location of your case.

More than likely your CPU fan might be the cause. However, please be mindful of how large your case is compared to the fan you may purchase, I bought a fan months ago that is bigger than what I can fit in my case so now it just sits in it's packaging on my desk.

Yes them temperatures are safe, but if you are still worried, consider investing in some better cooling for your cpu for example a Cooler Master Seidon 120V etc.

Also what is your CPU? AMD, Intel?

That processor is literally ice cold.

My current CPU is overclocked and can get to about 80c. Most CPUs are built to hit 90-100c anyways so you're fine.

Thanks for the help all another think while gaming on heavy games all maxed out like bf4 my gpu hits around 80 degrees is this also okay because i got the msi gtx970 and the fans are auto so they run at around 50% with 80 degrees just wondering if this is okay

As a rule of thumb if your components can't boil water (ie 100c) you're gucci
