Hey guys! This is currently my first time taking graphic design ( I want to hopefully have graphic design as a career.) I'm also a senior in high-school and plan to take graphic design in college. If you guys would critique my work it would mean the world to me! -Kris

Here is a current project i'm working on.

If you want to be a Graphic designer, you should start doing projects that are more Graphic design related. What your doing there is GFX. If you have a career in Graphics, you won't be designing things like this.

Exactly what Peas said. You will have to do actual professional graphic design if you want to have a job in it. This is a good product but not professional. Not to say you can't make a great graphic designer, just this isn't the style for it.

Hello!
I agree with the above. I'm a school term away from graduating with my degree in graphic design, and I haven't really seen that kind of work in the field either. However, there is plenty of design that integrate photography and existing images into it, if that is what you're into.

Is there anything in particular you like about graphic design?

In terms of critiquing, I've heard this a lot which I don't always agree with but "good design is as little as possible" so perhaps you can simplify the banner, and get rid of the strokes. Everything kind of blends in together too much, and there's a lot going on.

Good luck!
