This means nothing. This has nothing to do with whether he is a good teacher or not. He gives you the information that you need in the packets. He is teaching you study habits and learning things for yourself. It is an honors class so obviously it will be on a different level than regular classes. From the sound of it you seem bothered that this is a class that you received a low grade in, and to feel better you bash the teacher. That is fine.

Just because he explains things in a way that you may not understand doesn't make him a bad teacher.

What does him missing days of school have anything to with this? Teachers have personal lives. If the school didn't see it as a valid reason, then they wouldn't allow it.

Why is it an issue that you find out about a test the day before? This is common. If you aren't prepared for it then reach out to the teacher and get help. That is why he is there. You don't like the way he teaches, so you are making it a negative experience. College and upper level classes are gonna hit you hard if you think this is a problem. Not everything will be drawn out for you.
