correct me if im wrong but i believe you cant see other peoples stats, does this mean i could mess about with friends and things if i wanted or just leave loads of games and screw my W/L?

Pretty much, since you cant really brag about stats anymore. Just play for rank, or for fun.
Plus the broken leaderboards doesent help either

Yeah I was going for a high leaderboard rank but that doesn't help... It'll get fixed soon though
