Xiggy wrote Get [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] RAM and all shall be good
Edit: Forgot that you already had ram. You can stick with the 1600Mhz RAM if you wish to keep both sets of RAM.
If you go with the 2133Mhz RAM, it will underclock back down to 1600Mhz anyway.
So, the speed doesn't really matter in this instance?

DiamondDoctor wroteIf one set of ram is lets say 1600Mhz and you buy another set which is 2133Mhz then the second set will underclock back down to 1600Mhz to match the other set so there running at the same speed.Xiggy wrote Get [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] RAM and all shall be good

Not if you want to keep your 8GB of RAM that you already have.
If you wanted to get a new 16GB kit, you could go with faster RAM.
It wouldn't make that much of a diffrence but for the same price, you can get faster speeds.

Well, if the speed will make a difference i'm willing to spend the money. Will it make a noticeable difference, in say, rendering? Gaming?

Yeah, not really a big diffrence.
Your looking at maybe a few seconds.
But yeah, sorry for the confusion. That 1600Mhz kit will be fine.
