Getting started can be very easy or very difficult, it depends on how quickly you catch on

Keep in mind what your goals will be when you get the console - Is it just to play games for free, emulated games, modded lobbies online?

Keep in mind the costs too - Figure out the cost of the console you are looking for (do some research on the differences), the HDD you will want, Wires and online costs if you are looking to go online

Know the differences between the console types and the differences between a Jtag, RGH1 and RGH2 before you buy and watch some videos on how to set everything up before it gets there so it's not frustrating when it does get there
