Maybe try getting a shift at McDonalds or KFC? Maybe even something really simple like a delivery boy

Pretty much anywhere would hire you, especially with Christmas around the corner. The problem is you will get paid very little in comparison to what you would if you were a few years older. But if you have the time and want to work then go for it.

Only other issue is i believe companies have to go through more paperwork taking on a 16 y/o as there are different working conditions for you because of your age (can only work certain amount of hours - less than norm among other things). I'm sure all of that would be explained to you in interviews/when you have the job.

Good luck in your search!

I would really just recommend focusing in school rather than working at your age, easier to focus in classes otherwise you can feel that you are earning a 'nice' amount because you are living with your parents but then you will begin to feel like you can live on your own with the money you are earning and then you will become homeless, so just saying xD, I would recommend not getting a Job but hey if you are still after one I would say a paper round or even work in a hotel / restaurant.

I'm 16 and I'm working at Mcdonalds in the UK alongside college as they only employ part time, highly recommend it because its a zero hour contract so you don't have to do a minimum amount of work its all set by you! I get around 150 every two weeks from working wednesday, friday saturday and sunday
