I have a compaq presario cq60 and have had it for about 4 years. I tried to turn it on today and everything seemed fine until it got passed the BIOS screen. The screen went black and I couldn't do anything. I tried turning the laptop off and back and on, it did the same thing. I have tried taking out the battery, unplugging the charger, then turn off computer, then plugged in adapter and left the battery out, but still did not work. If you know how to fix this or know the problem let me know. By the way the warranty is expired. Thanks for the help! Also if you need any other details let me know.
