Hey I just got an email around 3pm today saying the following but im not banned yet like im still on xbox my question is will my console get banned as well or is it just my account?
This email is to notify you that your Xbox Live account privileges have been permanently suspended due to cheating, inappropriate gameplay, and/or system abuse.This conduct has been determined to be severe, repeated, and/or excessive.
Why we enforced
The conduct that caused this suspension may include but is not limited to:
Utilizing unauthorized methods to gain advantage or disrupt the competitive landscape of Xbox LiveIntentionally playing with someone who is using unauthorized software, methods, or modificationsExploiting game vulnerabilities or glitchesNetwork interference or manipulationPlayer feedback or complaint abuseConsole tampering
Your conduct was brought to the attention of the Xbox Live Policy & Enforcement Team through either complaints filed by other Xbox Live users or in the course of our operation of the service. The Xbox Live Policy & Enforcement Team has reviewed the complaints and other evidence regarding this conduct and determined it violates the Xbox Live Terms of Use and/or Code of Conduct. Because your conduct or conduct history is in violation, the Xbox Live Policy & Enforcement Team has enacted this suspension against your account.
How this enforcement affects you
Enforcement actions apply to both the Xbox 360 and Xbox One consoles:
On the Xbox 360 console you will no longer be able to sign in to Xbox Live.On the Xbox One console you will be able to sign in, but some features and functionality of the console will be reduced or restricted including but not limited to the ability to participate in multiplayer games.

When I was banned it happened instantly, I got the email AFTER I was banned. I'm not sure why you weren't banned but it will happen. Also if it's just an account then you're account will be banned. If you were modding or doing something similar, your Xbox can be banned. But from what I understand in this email, only your account is going to be affected.

Yea sometimes the dont kick you offline right away depending on how bad you were for your time on that account Jtag, account modders savegame editors and account thiefs get banned instantly

Make a new account and license transfer everything. That way, if you do get banned you still have all your dlc and stuff

They Are Banning anyone Who goes in the "GTA ONLINE Money Drop Lobby" Because some words are blacklisted like "Lobby Hack" Things like that. and they are watching everybody on XBL

Eye- wrote They Are Banning anyone Who goes in the "GTA ONLINE Money Drop Lobby" Because some words are blacklisted like "Lobby Hack" Things like that. and they are watching everybody on XBL
Not XBL, they are watching TTG. Watching every XBL game is fairly impractical, but simply watching an open forum where people are literally admitting to joining lobbies and throwing their gamertags out there is probably the easiest thing you can do.
