I'm thinking about getting a PS4 and i want to know if you can watch your friend play a game (ex: nhl 15) without streaming on twitch. Also if you cant do that, can you stream on twitch from your ps4 and have your friend watch it? Sorry if this is a stupid question.

I dont think you can watch your friends play without streaming.and for the second question i would say you can.

There's an update for ps4 (Version 2.0) that can let you watch / play the game your friends are playing (Lets you take over the console and lets you play) But its only coming to North America this fall as far as we know . As for the twitch thing . all you need to do is have a twitch account and Link it with your ps4 and then all your friends have to do is look you up on twitch and they can watch you play.
