So i left to cali a week ago and turned off my router during that week so i dont watse electricity. I come back and turn it on again. After the past two days my laptop, where it has been always, has suddenly received a weak connection from my router. I have not moved either device, it has always been really strong before. I asked my bro and he said i might've hit the 500gb cap for twc? I can see my my last 60 day data usage and it says 160gb. I can also see a reset button for the data. What does this do? Will this help my problem? Should i reset it either way? Plz help

I reset my all the time and it basically just turns your router off then back on to re-establish the connection.

I would try resetting your router and see if it fixes your problem.

I think that what Mark has said will help you and will make your internet more reliable and what not.

Sometimes you just get too much going on so to speak, and turning off the router and making it do a hard reset it just the thing to make it work like new again.

Refreshing your data most likely will work. Just in case it doesn't unplug Your modem and router or Gateway and everything should be working properly. If this doesn't work, contact your local Internet service provider.

It's always good to have a restart once in a while.
