This is helpful for KV buyers, so you don't have to waste your online time to check whether your KV is banned or not, and, if you buy a KV that is banned, and the seller is coming up with excuses, you'll have full proof.
Step 1) Get your KV
Step 2) Open up "KV.bin" with Notepad
Step 3) Look in this area for a series of 12 random numbers

Step 4) This number is the KV specific Xbox Serial Number, copy this number by pressing CTRL+C.
Step 5) Sign into Microsoft account. Go here: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Step 6) Select "Original Xbox 360" Tick the "I have read and agree....." Paste Serial in "Serial Number". (Can be done much faster by clicking textbox and pressing CTRL+V)

Step 7) Click "Check"
Step 8) If the box below is green, it's an unbanned KV, if it's red, you're KV is sadly. banned

NOTE: You can also use HxD to find the serial number, just open the KV up in HxD or another hex editor, it should be on the 12th line down depending on your settings.

This is extremely outdated and this method usually doesn't work very often because the site is not up to date. Mostly everyone now uses a KV checking tool

just use the KV checker tool(the only thing it dosen't recognise is corona kv's i think some one correce if im wrong) it is more reliable as the site is unpredictable, as i have checked 3 kv's and i know they are banned but the site tells me they are unbanned

I've never used a KV checker tool. I guess you could do that as well. I've just been doing this. Thanks for the feedback then.
