JTAGs and RGHs do the same thing, run unsigned code.
The difference is just availability and boot times. RGHs are becoming more and more popular because it is able to be do on most consoles
JTAGs boot instantly and RGHs can take anywhere from 10 seconds to 10 minutes or longer.
Boot time depends on the RGH used (RGH1 or RGH2)

Rgh 1 is better then 2. So if I got an Xeon what would it be like would be slow?
Buy a Jtag Xexon. RGH xexons can take hours to boot. Buy a falcon RGH for hosting online or a jasper RGH for system link only.

I was thinking of rgh 2 jasper jtag
Keep in mind all games PAST MW2 need to be hosted online and can not be done via system link.

So would it b good to get a jasper rgh 2 jtag is there anything wrong with that kind?

No such thing as a "Jasper RGH2 Jtag"

There are Jasper JTAGs

and there are Jasper RGH2's

but not a "Jasper RGH2 JTAG"

So assuming someone is trying to sell you a RGH2 Jasper then those are just fine, just be sure you get video proof of it booting several times in a row to insure the boot times are decent.

Well, cost versus console longevity should be a concern too.

Like I said, Xenons are cheap but die frequently.

Zephyrs essentially have the same failure rate.

Falcons are a bit better

Jaspers are the best of all the phats.

Slim Trinities and Coronas both have very low failure rates.

Boot times.

A properly done RGH1 will have essentially instant boot times.

A properly done RGH2 will have about a 30 second average boot time.

Beware of an improperly done RGH2 which could have boot times from 5-15 minutes.

Xenons just don't RGH, it has something to do with the way the Hana is configured I think? I'm not positive about the why, but I can promise you RGH should only be used on Xenons for dvd key recovery. Never as a dedicated RGH.

Xenon JTAGs are fine though, different method of hack and those boot just fine instantly.

Stay away from a xenon jtag. Mine is terrible and i got it from a trusted seller. When mine turns on theres no signal being given to the tv. Ive had it reballed as well and still terrible.
