It's funny how a guy above posted a picture in comparison of RS3 & WoW, yet they look identical apart from some graphics which is due to RS3 being a browser based game.
As for the guy who said players can't blame the update of EOC in relation to them quiting, well to be honest that is quite possibly the stupidest thing I have ever heard on this forum.. RuneScape was unique, it was different, it was fun. We all knew it as a semi-clunky yet fun combat and interactive game, it was this that made it unique and ultimately what made it popular, not this hideous looking "EoC", which is a blatently stolen idea from WoW which killed the unique factor of RuneScape, RuneScape is no longer RuneScape despite the release of some shitty attempt to regain players to gain revenue and is known as "legacy". RuneScape, in all honestly is dead, it will never ever return, to those who think it is alive and well; "60k" playerbase between two servers both with over 30 worlds is an unsustainable amount, and we will see the innevitable demise of this shit game soon, thankfully. long last private servers.

RS3 isn't that bad, it's 100x easier but other then that it is kind of enjoyable if you know what you are doing. I seen legacy mode came out and that could be a game changer, other then that why not play 07 scape?

No it's not 100x easier, it went from a rather simple point-and-click MMORPG to a near WoW copy. If I wanted to play WoW, I would. I liked RS2 for the simplistic feel it had, and I don't know about you -- but it was tons more fun back in like 2008.
