You can't look purely at gun crimes in the UK. Sure gun deaths are low, but since the bans have been put into place other violent crime rose.

Besides any country that borders Mexico will have gun related deaths.

Batman- wrote where i live in Australia you have to be part of a gun club or own a gun licence, Unless you live on a farm you're allowed some sort of fire arm. But I've never seen serious killings/shootings or misuse of fire arms where I live.

(IN MY OPINION) You should not be able to walk around or own a gun without a licence or mental health check.

My thoughts exactually

Well in the UK fire arms are banned apart from a few and you need a licence to carry one I'm sure, also guns do not kill people only the people carrying them do but I guess in the UK banned guns are helpful in a way as it does stop more crime but like I said people are the blame not the guns.

I am thinking that the U.S. needs to go this route...

I don't see the need for guns in everyday life? Like why would you possibly need to be allowed to carry a gun around with you? People might say protection yadda yadda, well if there was actually gun laws and restrictions, then it becomes almost a non issue, you hardly ever hear of people being shot in the uk, compared to the us. Ban the gunns, decrease the deaths its simple. is a 'right' which adds no value to life what so ever more important than peoples lives? Also, not all cops should carry guns in the US, police in the UK don't and they get the job done.

The reason cops carry guns is because all the criminals here usually own one as well...
Stricter gun laws are needed in the U.S. but the hard headed public will not listen, because they think "The government is taking away our freedoms"
