Today I'm going to be bringing you an easy way to make tons of gold on medium to high population server. In the last two weeks of me using this method, I have made well over 100k gold from just two to three hours a day!
Here are the requirements for this method:
Herbalism is also extremely helpful in this method.
Here's how it works:
1) Use your character with Mining, and Herb if available, to begin to gather Ghost Iron Ore and MoP Herbs such as Green Tea Leaf, Silkweed, ect.
The reason for gather herbs in this method is to be able to get Golden Lotus, which will be useful for a later step.
2) Send all of the ore to your jewelcrafter for prospecting. Send all of your herbs, except for golden lotus (send this to the alch) to your bank toon for sale.
After prospecting all of the ore, send rare quality Blue, Red, and Yellow gems to your bank toon for sale, and send all uncommon gems, and rare quality Green, Orange, and Purple gems to your alch.
3) On your alch (helpful if you're an xmute alch), use the golden lotus to xmute uncommon purple, orange, and green gems so that you have an even number of each gem. You are then going to create Primal Diamonds with these rare quality gems, which will be sent to your bank toon for sale.
Thoughts: While mining, you may come across Trillium Ore, which you can smelt into Trillium Bars, send to your alch and use your daily cooldown for Living Steel, which sells very well on most servers.
On my server, which will remain nameless, I normally sell Living Steel for 250-300g ea, the Primal Diamonds anywhere from 250-400g ea, and I normally get 15g-20g a stack for my herbs. All in all, I tend to make anywhere from 5-10k a day depending on my alch procs.
Keep in mind this figure is only for around 2 hours of farming. It could easily be much more if one were to invest more time into farming mats.
