Well this rant is about those people that pretty much ask for your "Honest opinion of me" then when you tell them your thoughts on the situation & they typically get mad & start saying unpleasant things towards you,
correct me if i'm wrong but if they say "Honest" are you supposed to lie/tell them what they want to hear or actually tell them what you think of them..
& even when you try to explain to them that you're not going to lie just to make them feel good. if they want to know the good things about themselves they should just ask for that not for my opinion.
furthermore they go off telling other people bad things about you making you look like a bad person when really you're trying to be honest because that's what they ask for, then they mention "facts & the truth"
when it's impossible for someones opinion to be the truth therefore it's not a fact
so everything they are saying is invalid
but then they get really aggressive because you're correcting them
(I don't actually know where i'm going with this)
so yeah basically I do not understand people that ask for for my opinion but want me to lie.. why ask.. just don't ask..
That's my daily rant over probably don't even make much sense to some of you ..going bed.

I hate being put into that situation. Never answer since it seems like if you lie they get mad. If you tell them the truth and something they did't want to hear they get mad.

Everyone gets put into these situations from time to time and it is better to just go ahead and use some common sense. Telling little white lies to make a person feel better is okay in my book.
Then, if they ask again and this time they ask for what you really think, tell them.

I Have been in that situation many times. I Always say the truth if they dont like it they have to deal with it.

I've seen this multiple times in the graphics gallery. Someone will ask you to rate it /10 and you give your honest opinion and a reason why and they will down vote your post and start getting angry about giving an honest post..some people can't handle constructive criticism. They just need to learn to deal with it or not ask for opinions.

I know where you are coming from. If people can't handle a truthful and honest answer, they shouldn't even ask the question. :facepalm:

If you are asked for your opinion then your honest opinion should be given, however. Sometimes that opinion may hurt ones feelings.

This reminds me of those facebook posts about being truthful about someone. I never got why people did it. I've asked for advice and such, but I know people have different opinions and that's what I want. Some people can't take the truth though so they freak out when someone says something different then the rest.
