Hey guys, I just brought out my old RGH for fun and realized there are some new things that I don't know/remember. I stopped using my RGH probably close to a year ago, I haven't even touched it. I came to this forum to try and refresh my memory but there seems to be some new things. Could someone explain what RTE tools are? Also, I am assuming it still isn't possible to go online without paying, right? Last time I used this thing all I did was use MW2 DLLs and run emulators. Thanks in advance.

You can go online for free using some "offline" files. They are relatively easy to come across. RTE Tools are Real Time Editing Tools. These have kinda replaced patches and mod menus. It's a program that has all the mods on it, and you push them to you RGH through Xbox 360 Neighborhood. It's simple, though people have issues setting it up. These programs are decent. If you want a good one you have to pay, or make your own. From what I hear ApparitionNet is a good paid one. The newer Call of Duty games are harder to mod. You need ban protection, and bypasses. Those features normally come with the tools. These tools are also capable of Spoofing gold, Changing you Gamertag in game, and Protecting you from player reports. As far as online serves go, they range from cheat to expensive. ($10-$20 a day) I just use offline files. Goodluck, and happy modding.
